Why Pigeons?

Pigeons are one of the oldest domesticated breeds of birds in history. Their history of service in world wars as military messangers endeared them as heros that were credited for saving countless lives.

The development of over 300 types offer any bird enthusiast an almost limitless variety of colors, shapes and sizes to enjoy. These hardy, gentle birds are easy to breed, easy to raise, very easy to handle and most importantly are great for young and old to enjoy as pets or a exciting and challenging hobby.

We have a diverse membership, from all walks of life and all levels of experience. We continually strive to bring anyone interested in avian hobbies into the huge community of the pigeon fancy.

You would be amazed at the number of clubs around the country and even the world devoted to the pigeon. Again, with over 300 breeds to choose from you will be sure to find one or several types to enoy.
